DEVOPS ENGINEER POSITION SUMMARY
We are seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer to join our engineering team and contribute to the development of software that drives our business forward. This role involves collaborating closely with our team to deliver an advanced learning system platform that helps our users prepare for and pass certification exams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide support and troubleshooting for critical applications, ensuring system resilience and reliability.
- Implement application security patches, upgrades, and new technologies.
- Identify opportunities for operational efficiency improvements, including automation and process redesign.
- Work with the engineering team and business stakeholders to identify areas for modernization and leverage emerging technologies and best practices.
- Create standard operating procedures and document workflows for knowledge sharing and support.
Requirements:
- Minimum of four years of DevOps experience with Linux system administration.
- Experience managing large, cloud-based systems, preferably with Azure.
- Knowledge of virtualization and experience with container technologies such as Docker.
- Hands-on experience with continuous delivery and integration.
- Experience with Postgres or other relational databases.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
- Positive, friendly attitude with a track record of suggesting tools and accurately estimating and scoping work.
