SYSTEM ADMINISTRATOR POSITION SUMMARY
User Support Responsibilities:
- Maintain network integrity by modifying user accounts, user groups, file permissions, and other related tasks.
- Identify and troubleshoot issues with phones, Internet connectivity, email delivery, and more.
- Respond to incoming calls, messages, and emails regarding information technology support requests.
- Collaborate with local and remote end-users to provide support for IT systems and solutions.
- Develop and maintain a documentation knowledge base of procedures and solutions.
- Provide end-user training on technology solutions and applications for both new and existing employees.
Hardware Support Responsibilities:
- Install, configure, test, maintain, troubleshoot, and recycle end-user workstation hardware, networked peripheral devices, and networking hardware products.
- Set up telephones with power and network connections.
- Set up other computer peripherals such as cameras, headsets, and multiple monitors.
- Assist in moving computer and phone equipment when users move to new locations.
- Help maintain laser printers by removing paper jams, installing toner cartridges, and tracking supplies used in a spreadsheet.
Software Support Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot and support various software applications, including Windows Operating Systems and Microsoft Office MS 365.
- Provide support for MS Access databases used for gathering information, querying, and reporting.
- Assist users in utilizing Teams video conferencing for meetings, screen sharing, and recording.
- Maintain the web store and web site configurator, collaborating with Marketing and Product Management teams.
